| Derry Salvation Army back-to-school assistance | Derry / Londonderry / Windham | A prior social post referenced backpack registration, but the current official Derry page does not display 2026 signup, pickup date or inventory details. Corrections and exclusions
Vermont event excluded
North Star Health’s August 13 Community Health and Fun Fair offers free backpacks, but the venue is The Great Hall, 100 River Street, Springfield, Vermont. It does not belong on the New Hampshire calendar.
Old-year date not rolled forward
The North Country Cares/Revolving Closet “Friday, August 8” listing was a 2025 post. August 8, 2026 is Saturday, so no 2026 date is published without a new organizer announcement.
Nonparticipating stores remain excluded
Wireless Zone Laconia and Plymouth were explicitly marked as nonparticipants in the July 26 School Rocks campaign and were not counted among the 20 participating New Hampshire locations.
General events are not giveaways
Back-to-school festivals, swaps and family events are excluded from the confirmed table when their current sources omit backpack or school-supply distribution language.
Validation method
Organizer, school district, city, nonprofit and participating-store pages were preferred over aggregators and old social posts.
Events before July 27 were moved to the archive. Day-of-week combinations were recomputed for 2026.
Eligibility, registration, agency distribution, donation-only activity and call-first warnings are stated in the listing—not hidden in fine print.
