Important status update: VOA Michigan’s August 11 Operation Backpack distribution is at capacity. Backpack requests are closed, registered families are notified in late July, and walk-ups should not be expected.
Validation rule: “Official program / logistics verify” means the organizer confirms the backpack program and eligibility, but the exact public pickup time or site was not shown on its official page. “Public/social listing” rows remain useful leads but should be confirmed before travel.
